NOTE: This tutorial was written with Paint Shop Pro 9. Users of other versions of PSP should be able to follow
it easily. For the Photoshop version of this tut, click here. 3. Turn off the "tag 3" layer, and click on the "tag 2" layer. Apply the same preset, but
rotate the environment bitmap one turn. Turn off the "tag 2" layer. Apply the same preset to the "tag
1", but rotate the environment bitmap two turns. You now have three copies of your text, each with the glitter
in slightly different positions. 5. Close all layers except "tag 1" and "stroke". Merge visible. Save as "name 1".
Undo the merge and turn off the "tag 1" layer and turn on the "tag 2" layer. Make sure you
are standing on this layer or the "stroke layer. Merge visible and name this "name 2". Repeat for
"name 3.
FOR THIS TUTORIAL YOU WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD MY GLITTER AND GOLD OUTLINE PRESETS, WHICH YOU CAN FIND HERE.
1. Open a new image, 600 pixels wide by 200 pixels high (make it longer if you have a long name). Type in your
name in whatever font you wish to use (I'm using Script MT Bold at 150 pt). Duplicate this layer 4 times. Name
layer 1 "stroke". Name the rest of the layers "tag 1", "tag 2" and "tag 3".
2. Click on the "tag 3" layer to select it. Crtl+A+F and apply one of the glitter presets to it. Your
image should now look like this:
4. Click on the "stroke" layer to select it. Ctrl+A+F to float the selection. Selections: Defloat(Ctrl+Shift+F).
Modify by 3. Floodfil with white. While still selected, and apply the gold outline preset to it. Go to Select,
Deselect. Your image should now look like this:
6. Open Animation Shop and click on the Animation Wizard.
Same size as the first image frame
Transparent
Centered in the frame
With the canvas color
Yes, repeat the animation indefinitely.
20( or whatever speed you prefer)
Add image (I always click on the last frame first, holding Shift and then click the other two frames in reverse
sequence ie: 3,2,1. This way is a lot quicker to put the frames in order in my opinion.)
Click Next and then Finish.
