This tutorial was written for Photoshop CS1, but will work in later versions as well. You will need my vase
template and blue ceramic preset, which you can download HERE.
Term of use: this tutorial and all supplies are for personal use only unless you purchase a commercial license.
1. Open the file "ks_vase-template.psd. Click the eye icon on the vase layer to make it active. Go to Filters,
FlamingPear, and open SuperBladePro. Navigate to where you put the folder "ks_blue ceramic", and apply
the preset "ks_blue ceramic.q5q". Your vase should now look like the example above. To change the color
of the vase from blue to red, go to Image, Adjustments, Hue Saturation and Lightness, and use these settings:

Your vase should now look like this:

You can use this method to create any color vase you like. You can also apply other presets to the vase. Following
are examples of the results using some of my other presets. Where I changed settings, these are noted.

ks_cloissonne 110--height changed to 0

ks_cloissonne 114--height changed to 0

ks_stone 15

ks_stone 25, gaussian blur .5, highlight added with AlienSkin Eye Candy 5 Impact: Glass plugin
And finally, you can also fill the selection with any interesting tiling pattern, for an unlimited number of gorgeous
vases. Have fun, and I'd love to see what you make of this!
