This set was inspired by memories of my visits to Chinatown in New York City with my family as a young girl.
The colors and texture remind me of things I saw in shop windows and on the streets.
The rich brocades of the fabrics and clothing especially caught my eye,
with that gorgeous metallic/iridescent sheen everywhere I looked.
