Note: This tut was written for Photoshop CS, and it will work in later versions as well.
2. With the text still selected, apply ks_texture A overlay.q5q. Your image should now look
like this: 3. Create a new layer above Layer1. Name it "stroke". Go to Edit, Stroke, and
apply these settings: 4. Control-left click on the "stroke" layer. Apply ks_sterling.q5q to the selection.
Go to Select, Deselect. Your image should now look like this: Add your desired background and a drop shadow, and you're done! For the complete set of

Mini-Tutorial for Photoshop

1. Unzip the tutorial supplies. Open the document titled "text.psd". Control-left click on Layer 1 to
select the text. Click on the gradient tool (under the paint bucket) in the tool palette. Click on the down-pointing
arrow to the right of the gradient in the tool preset window. Click on the arrow to the right of the gradient window
and select "Load Gradients" from the menu. Navigate to where you put "gradient.grd" from the
tutorial supplies and click on it. In the gradient window, click on gradient.grd. Place your cursor to the left
and slightly above the capital S and draw a line diagonally across the text, ending just to the right of the "d"
in "Stained" but below the bottom row of text. Your image should look something like this:
