Stained Glass

Mini-Tutorial for PaintShop Pro

Note: This tut was written for Paint Shop Pro 9, but users of other versions shouldn't have trouble following it. For the Photoshop version of this tut, click here.

1. Unzip the tutorial supplies. Open the document titled "
text.psd". Click on Layer 1 to select it.  Ctrl+A+F to select the text.  Click on the gradient tool in the materials palette. Navigate to where you put "Rainbow Pastel" from the tutorial supplies and click on it. Angle-110 Repeats-5

2. With the text still selected, apply ks_texture A overlay.q5q. Your image should now look like this:

3. Create a new layer below Layer 1.  Go to Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. De-float selection.(Ctrl+Shift+F).  Floodfil with white.  Apply ks_sterling.q5q to the selection.

4. Deselect. (Ctrl+D). Your image should now look like this:
