This tutorial was written for Photoshop CS, and will work in later versions as well.
Terms of use: this tutorial and all supplies are for personal use only, unless you purchase a commercial license
(contact me for more information).
For this tutorial you will need a zip file containing the Zuni Bear and Arrow selections in .psd format. Click
here to download this file. You will also need AlienSkin's Eye Candy 5 Impact
filter--you can download a fully-functional 30-day demo here. And you will need the first page of my Stone
presets, which can be downloaded here.
1. Open the file "Zuni Bear.psd". Control + left click in the layer thumbnails to select the bear, and
apply the SBP preset "ks_stone 3", changing the radius to 7, the height to -11, and the texture to 20.
Spin the environment bitmap 4 times, and move the texture bitmap to the right until you obtain an effect similar
to that shown below:

2. Open the file "Arrow.psd". Control + left click to select the arrow, go to Edit, Cut and then click
on the title bar of the Zuni Bear image. Go to Edit, Paste to paste the arrow on top of the bear. Use the Move
tool (the top right tool in the Tools palette) to position the arrow on the bear as shown below:

3. Control + left click to select the arrow, and apply the SBP preset "ks_stone 28", moving the slider
under the texture bitmap to 70. With the arrow still selected, navigate to your Eye Candy Impact filter. Click
on the Glass filter and apply the following settings (glass color is white):

Go to Layer, Layer Style, Bevel and Emboss, and use these settings:

Your image should now look like this:

4. Go to Select, Modify, Contract and type in 5 in the box. Click OK. Click on the Zuni Bear
layer and hit Delete. Control+left click to select the bear. Navigate to Eye Candy Impact's Glass filter again,
and apply the following settings (glass color is white):

Go to Select, Deselect, then Layer, Merge Visible. You're done!
